About Me
My Creative Journey
My name is Jasmine Huynh, and Noxii is the world I’ve shaped from years of dreaming, healing, and creating. My artistic journey began long before jewelry. I started as a graphic designer, working as an intern from the beginning of high school through graduation. I created logos, business cards, and branding projects that shaped my eye for detail, but I quickly learned how undervalued young artists can be. I was stressed, underpaid, and often dismissed simply because I was young and didn’t yet have a degree. Even in that difficult environment, art stayed with me. A coworker named Jasmine became my first real client and one of the first people who made me feel that my work had value. She kept hiring me, encouraging me, and giving me reasons to continue creating when I felt discouraged. Her support mattered more than she knew.
The true spark for Noxii happened during Second Sunday on King Street in South Carolina. My sister, my mother, and I were walking together when we saw a sweet girl selling her handmade jewelry, working so hard and creating right at her table. My sister and I looked at each other with the same silent thought: we wanted to do something like that together one day. And my mother, standing beside us, said she would support us if we ever wanted to take off with it. That moment planted the seed that would eventually grow into this brand. Even though my sister and I are on different paths now, she still helps me manage everything when she has the time, and the dream we imagined together still lives inside Noxii.
My journey led me to SCAD, where I was surrounded by creativity but also struggling emotionally. I felt overwhelmed, lost, and unsure of myself. Not long after, I became bedridden for a long period, and life slowed down in ways I didn’t expect. But in that stillness, something beautiful emerged. I began making jewelry from my bed, finding comfort and purpose in creating with my hands. I learned techniques, experimented with materials, and found healing through shaping pearls, metal, and porcelain into something delicate and meaningful. That period of stillness became the foundation for everything I create now.
Throughout all of this, my partner was beside me. He has been with me through nearly the entire journey — through my roughest moments, through every setback and every small victory. I used his room as my craft room for a long time, and no matter how messy or chaotic my process was, he supported me without hesitation. He nurtured my creativity, believed in my ideas, and gave me the hope I needed to keep moving forward. His quiet strength has carried me in ways I will never forget.
I also wouldn’t be here without Ashlie. She was the person I did my very first market with, and if it hadn’t been for her, I don’t know if I would have made it this far or pushed myself as hard as I have. Setting up beside her, creating together, and watching her passion bloom gave me the motivation to keep going. Seeing her work so hard makes me want to continue shaping this dream every single day.
I’ve learned that feeling beautiful can bring confidence, and confidence can change your life. It can lift you from dark places, help you rediscover your identity, and guide you toward a future you never thought possible. That belief sits at the heart of everything I make. I want every Noxii piece to make someone feel divine, cherished, and empowered.
My mother, who encouraged me from the very beginning, continued to support me as Noxii grew. She eventually gave me an office to work in, and moving from crafting in my bed and my partner’s room to having my own studio space felt like stepping into the person I was becoming. My sister, my mother, my partner, and my friends — especially Ashlie and Jasmine — are woven into the spirit of this brand.
Today, Noxii is a one-woman studio where I design, craft, advertise, record, and package every piece myself. I use real metals, pearls, stones, and porcelain to create adornments inspired by romance, memory, and the softness of old-world beauty. Every necklace, heel, dress, and accessory begins with intention and ends with a story.
More than a brand, Noxii is a community I’m building — a place where girls can simply be girls, where softness is celebrated, confidence is encouraged, and creativity is shared. A space for beauty, emotional honesty, and empowerment.
Thank you for being here, for supporting my small business, and for allowing my art to become part of your story. From crafting jewelry in my bed, to working in my partner’s room, to creating in my own office, this journey has been long and emotional. A dream born from seeing another artist enjoy her passion with my mother and sister, strengthened by my partner’s support, and encouraged by Ashley’s presence, has finally become real. This is only the beginning, and I’m grateful you’re here to grow with me.
